About Us
Somebody has to do it
Yucko’s started scooping St. Louis yards in 1990, back when explaining the business over the phone took a while. We’ve been doing the same thing ever since and for the same reason: somebody has to, and most people would rather it wasn’t them.
What we actually do
Somebody walks your yard in a grid, finds what’s there, bags it, ties it, and puts it in your outdoor can. Then they latch the gate and check it. That is the whole service, and it has been the whole service since 1990.
Nothing gets installed, nothing gets plugged in, and nothing gets signed. Most of our customers are not home when we come, and most of them have never met their tech.
What we charge, and what doesn’t change it
Two things set your price: how many dogs you have and how often you want us. A quarter acre and two acres pay the same.
Most companies in this trade price by the property, which is why most of them will not put a number on a website. All nine of ours are on the pricing page.
A Second Mile Service Company

Yucko’s is part of Second Mile Service, a local St. Louis family of brands. Second Mile Service includes Pure Pest + Lawn, Tropical Décor, Kirkwood Fence, Bergfeld Recreation, Quality Waterproofing + Insulation, and Gravel Shooters.
Second Mile teams are used to getting their hands dirty, but this is the first one specifically dedicated to poop.
Yucko's became part of Second Mile Service in 2026 and operates the same as it always has. Now, though, they can take even greater care of your outdoor spaces through their sister companies.
The crew
The people who do this work are our trained professionals.
They run the same routes week after week, which is how they learn which gate sticks and which dog would rather they came back later. You probably will not meet yours. Most of our customers never do.
Insurance and the boring part
Workers’ compensation and general liability, both current, certificate on request the same day.
It matters more than it sounds like it does: an uninsured person injured in your yard is your problem, not theirs.
