St. Charles

Two hundred years of history out on Main Street, and something considerably more recent on the back lawn.

St. Charles has the oldest street in the region and a good deal of the oldest housing stock to go with it. Main Street and the blocks behind it are brick, narrow and close together, with yards measured in feet rather than fractions of an acre. Head west past the historic district and the subdivisions turn ordinary and the lots open up.

Two different kinds of visit, then. The old blocks are quick but fiddly, with gates that stick and fence lines that have shifted over a century and a half of settling. The newer west side is straightforward walking.

We work both, and the price is identical either way, because what you pay depends on how many dogs you have and how often you want us rather than on what your lot looks like.
